Pifworld gives you the tools to change the world your way. And you is you. You can be a pretty cool 16 year old, or can be that bit more traditional styled manager of a big retail store.
You can also be that small recruitment company that wants to do something. Or that big multinational that looks for new ways. Pifworld is a place where your employees can be active for a better world.
You can also be a charity. A small charity that protects biodiversity in the rainforest. Or that bigger charity helping kids to go to school in 4 African countries. Pifworld helps you with online & corporate partnerships.
Goal: 10,000,000 people changing the world together
With our team we spent some time together and we were very honest. We believe tthat if we don’t change our ways, we are not going to make it.
We believe crowdsourcing is the way to go. And our role is to help people to build up communities around charities and projects. ln a way that you can participate the way you like.
To reach you as a person, our strategy is to connect charities to companies. Linking these existing communities allows us to spread. And so we reach you. So we set our goals: in 2012 we involve 100 charities and their donors, and 100 companies - and their employees. Goal is to double this year on year.
Just think: 1600 charities and 1600 companies in 2016. With on average 1000 donors/employees, spreading to 3 others each, makes 10,000,000 members. lmagine the power of that!
Pifworld is: a social enterprise
Social enterprises want to provide meaningful products for the world.
Pifworld is a Dutch social enterprise, producing a meaningful product in a sustainable way.
It is independent and has no ties to any NGO nor does it receive gouvernement grants. To be transparent, sustainable and customer driven, the organisation is separated in two legal entities: Play It Forward B.V. and Play it Forward Foundation.
Play it Forward B.V. is responsible for all activities, including the Pifworld online platform. Play it Forward Foundation collects and disburses project donations.
Great news here: Pifworld does not take a percentage of the donations received, so donations go entirely to your organization.
To keep us up to speed, Pifworld B.V. provides a membership model for charities and offers corporate social responsibility products to companies.
