Dear Players,

Today we have reached our budget on Pifworld: a great accomplishment.

We would like to say a special thank you to the students of the Maurick College and the Vught community. They are the ones who have made this project possible. The students raised over 3200 euros and the Vught community doubled this amount leading to a contribution of over 6000 euros!

Thanks to their effort and help the people in district South24 will be provided with 25 toilets with septic tanks. This will substantially contribute to their sanitation and help provide a clean environment.

Stay tuned to see the project developments. We will be sure to place photos and videos to keep you informed about the progress.

3207 euros raised by the Maurick College in Vucht!
Dear Players,

We are proud to say that the school children from the Maurick College in Vucht raised 3207 euros for our project Better Hygiene! A wonderful result for which we are very grateful.

Two lucky students also won a meet & greet with Pifworld Ambassador and Radio 538 DJ Marc la Brand. They are very excited to meet him in person and see the Radio 538 studios.

Update Maurick College
This week we gave a presentation to 12 high school classes about our 'Better Hygiene' project. We explained to the students why sanitation is vital for human health.

The students were intrigued and all received a package with 10 pictures which they will sell for 2 euros a person. The money raised will go to our project here on Pifworld.

We are very excited about this fundraising challenge and look forward to updating you on their progress.

Indian Mother and Child

School children play it forward for IMCN
Hello Players,

We are preparing for a fund raising action with School Children. I am waiting for 12 pictures from 12 families who don't have a toilet.

These 12 pictures will be sold by the children of the 12 classes from Maurick College in Vught.

The teachers of Maurick College will help and coordinate our action.

I Expect that the appr. 300 children will collect so much money that we will be nearby the goal of the toilet-project.

When I have received the 12 pictures from India we will begin informing the children so the fund raising action can begin!

Dr. Sujit Brahmochary, director of the Institute for Indian Mother and Child (IIMC) in calcutta, sent a short update and some pictures, recently taken by IIMC in the villages they visited.


Dr. Sujit:

"We visited this village, the scenarios & the pictures are very touchable and sadfull when we found people are using palm leaves, used plastic bags, some are sitting near the pond of only water source of the village.


It seems human life�s have no value, all simple and poor people are ignored.


We hope many friends will join with us and with our collaborating friends in Holland. Sanitation will improve the village hygiene, will prevent many infections diseases and will preserve Human Dignity of a simple poor family."

new toilets for 3 families with a sponsorchild of our Foundation: Indian Mother and Child Netherlands
The Institute Indian Mother and Child in Calcutta under leadership of Dr. Sujit Bramochary has made a beginning with the construction of some toilets for the very poor families who needs a toilet.
The members of the families are very glad to get a decent toilet.
