Tika

My name is Tika. My family lives north of Kathmandu near the Tibetan Border. I started as a volunteer for Vajra Nepal about 6 years ago, and worked in differnet projects (building schools, latrines , watersupply ed). Now I am teaching in the Vajra Acacdemy and also taking care of the children who stay in the school. Our school is very child friendly and we are especially trained to make that possible. Most school in Nepal are rather old fashioned in their teaching method. We use a lot of play, drawing, dance give the children a nice time and to educate them properly. Beacuse of theiir poor background they are very motivated to learn. I am very happy to support them in their education. Nepal need them !
