Camping kit at Funpop
Finally, the camping kit has been used! Last month 3 groups enjoyed camping with the camping kit of Wielewaal. First 2 groups visited the music festival Pinkpop and a few weeks later a group went to Funpop. Funpop is a music festival especially for mentally disabled people. Videomaterial is coming soon, but to give you an impression here are some pictures shown of the Funpop weekend. As you can see, they really had a lot of fun!

Buying a camping kit!
Dear Players,

Pinkpop through the eyes of a volunteer
Nice to see how many players chose Wielewaal to make a donation to. On behalf of all disabled who are waiting for a camping holiday: thanks! Almost all places of the Pinkpop holiday in June are reserved yet. The participants are really looking forward to it. We hope they can use the camping kit during this holiday.

Unforgettable holidays.
These pictures are just a few examples of activities during the holidays organised for young disabled. Holidays to forget impossibilities and enjoy all possibilities. With this project on Pifworld we can organise camping holidays. To experience a camping holiday will be truly unforgettable for disabled youth. Moreover, this way we can offer the holidays at lower costs so more people can afford it.

Mission Statement
The Wielewaal foundation offers children and youth with disabilities (age 4-35) a possibility to spend holidays in a nice way. In our opinion, young people with disabilities have the right to spend holidays the same way as others. However, for people with disabilities, holidays are not very common. Being out of their normal situation at a nursing home is a challenge. Together with all volunteers, Wielewaal lets the disabled youngsters experience a normal holiday during which the disabilities are no obstacle. During the holidays they can take part in activities they wouldn't experience in common life. We undertake exciting things such as survival activities and roller coasters. It’s also an opportunity to enjoy simple things like having a facial mask, or just laying down on the beach feeling the sand and talk with ‘new’ friends. Wielewaal makes everything possible.
