Motivation
Support the training of midwives in the Nangarhar province, Afghanistan.
In Afghanistan, only 1,500 of the 5,000 midwives required are available to women that give birth. To increase this number, the Community Midwifery Program needs to be strengthened at technical, organizational and institutional level. At this moment there are 28 students in training but there are not sufficient ‘pregnant’ dummies available. The purchase of three dummies that can be used in training activities will strengthen the training program.
