Abubakari is doing well
Abubakari is one of the children benefiting from the amount raised by pifworld-players. He is a 12-year-old boy, born with club feet. Some years ago, Abubakari received surgery. At that time support through the Liliane Foundation started. Abubakari was able to receive suitable prosthetics. To this day, social worker Osmond Annum continues to visit Abubakari regularly. The Liliane Foundation makes sure his school fees are paid. The boy is happy and doing well in school.

Amazing results!
Thank you, on behalf of children in Ghana!
The Liliane Foundation is very glad to inform you that the overall target - 7000 euros - for the project ‘Direct Child Support’ has now been reached. Many Pifworld-players have made financial contributions towards this end. Because of this, social worker Osmond Annum will be able to assist 102 children with a disability in Ghana. These children will receive individual assistance, through medical and social rehabilitation.
Osmond is very motivated
Osmond Annum is a local contact for the Liliane Foundation in Accra, Ghana. Osmond is passionate when it comes to the emancipation of people with disabilities. He makes sure the social, medical and physical needs of many disabled Ghanese children are met. Osmond is very motivated: ‘As soon as I notice that parents no longer see their disabled children as a burden, but instead are able to be proud of their children and are willing to patiently stimulate their sons or daughters, then I become very pleased. But I am very aware that this whole process takes patience.’
Thank you!
On behalf of Osmond Annum, the children and families involved we would like to express our gratitude. Thank you, all Pifworld-players who have contributed financially toward the project ‘Direct Child Support’ in Ghana. Because of people ´playing it forward´, more children with disabilities are getting a head start in life.
