About: Let's build the largest wildlife park in the world starting with the Elephant Corridor to give room to 100,000 Elephants.
The Elephant Corridor is a unique and innovative project that enables the elephants in Botswana to roam freely across the border to Zambia. The Corridor offers a solution for the heavy desertification in Southern Africa and the increased danger for the local communities. This project is the first and key step in the realisation of world’s biggest wildlife park covering an area of 300,000 km2.
About: Hivos: We don’t normally associate cattle and pigs with clean and hygienic but their manure can be used for clean energy whereby people get a chance on development without climate pollution! In Kenia this project will contribute to the realization of 24 biogas installations. This will part of the larger Africa Biogas Partnership Programme which is realized together with SNV and local organisations.
